CrossFit is a fitness regimen developed by Greg Glassman over several decades. Glassman, CrossFit's Founder and CEO, was the first person in history to define fitness in a meaningful, measurable way: increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. He then created a program specifically designed to improve fitness and health.
CrossFit method workouts are different everyday. At Bionic CrossFit, they are constantly coached. The workouts will consistently push the learning curve and above all else they are a lot of fun.
Our workouts are different everyday and are designed and built around basic fundamental human movement: we push, pull, lift, carry, drag, throw, run, sprint, row, bike and we do all this in hundreds of different variations. Everyday is a full body workout designed to target our 10 general elements of fitness: strength, cardiovascular, endurance, stamina, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy.
Group classes are always instructed by our training staff. The coaches will always educate and lead you through these workouts. Our coaches, along with our awesome community will be there to motivate and inspire you along your journey.
We use simple things like a whiteboard, a cook and software to measure your results. Keeping this data for each individual member is vital to ensure we are making consistent progress.
While CrossFit challenges the world’s fittest, the program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual, regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change the program. The needs of a high level athlete and a grandparent are the same, they just differ by degree. A high level athlete needs to be able to push, drag and pull hundreds of pounds while the grandparent needs to be to pick up groceries off the ground or carry their grandchild.
